These little ones have the most infectious smiles....they were pretty much giggling the entire hour :)  I pretty much smile every time I look at them!

What makes a perfect picture? lighting, clothes and hair? "perfect" stuff?.....today my perfect is these few pictures of some of my favorite people...not taken during a photo shoot...just playing in the backyard...perfectly happy :)

This last weekend I got to take pictures of the ~C~ Family!  I had a total blast chasing these kids around :)~ Mom wanted them photographed in their natural environment... which included swinging from trees and "pogo-sticking" as I referred to it. I absolutely loved playing with them.....what a beautiful family.

Happy Labor Day everyone! We had a wonderful day filled with so many great friends and family members over....a sweet farewell to this beautiful summer. One of the highlights of the day was watching these two in action....I had to tell them someone stole the cookies from the cookie jar to get them to hold still...an interrogation of sorts. Imagine my surprise when they actually looked a little guilty! Maybe they know something I don't.

So tonight I'm snuggling on the couch with my youngest after dinner when she pops up and says "Mama! Hurry!" I jumped up looking for the emergency and she grabs me by the hand and pulls me out to the deck...."The sun mama! It's twinkling in the trees!"  Oh...sweet summer, sweet girl.....my little sunset baby.

....And this little troop is managed by big sister ~K~  A real beauty with the most perfect head of beautiful curls.

Her big brother, little man ~C~ lives up to the label on the front of his shirt! He is hilarious and always on the go~ I can't wait to photograph him this fall.

The ~R~ Family

So, last night I was going through photos when I cam across this one of Baby ~A~. I have to say I think this is one of my first photos that I did for someone else with the tiny glimmer of a thought that I might want to pursue photography. I adore this picture..not because it's perfect...but because this little girl showed me that I could "feel" things with my camera.
